Committee Interest Crystal Awards Committee - plan and execute our annual awards gala. This annual event honors the achievements of award-winning designs and Designers in the state of Colorado.
Chapter Awards Nominations Committee -Each year, this committee reviews candidates for the various Society-level and chapter-level awards, recommends applicants and works to complete the submission package as determined by ASID National.
Communications Committee - charged with establishing and managing relationships with our media partners and sponsors. We create clear, consistent and engaging communications (graphics and messaging) to our members, industry partners and external audiences through various channels such as magazines, emails, our website and social media outlets.
Emerging Professionals Committee - provides resources and events catered to emerging designers in Colorado including information and prep for the NCIDQ test also known as Q-Prep. "Emerging Professional" is defined as someone within the first five years of graduation who is practicing in the field of interior design. Of course, we are not limited to having only Emerging Professionals on the committee, we welcome all those who wish to help new designers in the field.
Membership Committee -assists design professionals, students and educators as well as industry partners in navigating the ASID membership process. Other responsibilities include hosting the annual IP (Industry Partner) Appreciation Party, which is a fun and rewarding project each year. We also help to ensure that designers, ASID members, and customers can quickly identify and locate an IP when their services are needed. Being involved with the Membership Committee is the perfect way to get involved with ASID for someone who loves networking within the industry!
Professional Development Committee - organizes the Chapter’s Programs. Duties include venue selection, program content, event promotion, check-ins and wrap up.
Southern Design Communities (SOCO) - organizes events specifically for members in our Southern Colorado region.
Mountain Design Communities - organizes events specifically for members in our Mountain and Western Slope regions.
Northern Communities (NOCO) - organizes events specifically for members in our Northern Colorado region.
Sponsorship Committee - works with companies in Colorado who want to promote their products and services to ASID Designers and have access to a wide array of benefits for doing so.
Student Affairs Committee - responsible for planning student events such as the Student Leadership Conference
