In honor of ASID's 50th Anniversary, we are celebrating the diverse interior design sectors that shape our environment by spotlighting 50 Impact Designers. This initiative emphasizes that every specialty plays a vital role in enriching our experiences, demonstrating the powerful ways DESIGN IMPACTS LIVES.
This year’s Denver Life Magazine Designer Showhouse presented by Thermador is located in the prestigious Belcaro neighborhood. A mix of extraordinary contemporary and historic homes are sprinkled throughout, creating a unique urban energy. This year’s house is built by Jake Goldberg of Goldco Homes Group. Lead designer Monika Engel of Monika Faye Designs provided the overall vision for the design teams to follow. The 2025 Denver Life Magazine Designer Showhouse is Alpine Publishing Group’s 16th Designer Showhouse project, donating approximately $500,000 to local non-profit organizations while highlighting the work of 170 local design teams and vendors, seven local luxury home builders, and their architects.

Founded in 2023, The Patrick Surtain II Foundation is the non-profit charity of Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II. The mission of Patrick’s Foundation is to level the playing field for students in financially disadvantaged communities by ensuring that these students have the same access to educational resources as their suburban peers to ensure their success.
Patrick’s Inspiration Rooms are innovative learning environments designed to foster excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) education. Each Inspiration Room features vibrant Patrick Surtain II Foundation-themed and School-themed wall graphics, interactive workspaces, state-of-the-art technology, multimedia resources, and customized learning tools tailored to each school’s unique needs.
This year, we are collectively hoping to raise funds to complete one whole S.T.E.A.M. room at a local school.
