2025 Crystal Award Winners

The Winners Book

The ASID Colorado/New Mexico Crystal Awards recognizes the best of the best from interior designers across Colorado and New Mexico. We are honored to share the 2025 Crystal Awards recipients in each category. Be sure to scroll through the Winners Book to see the award-winning work.

With over 27 years celebrating the achievements of our community, our annual Crystal Awards celebration would not be possible without our attendees, sponsors, judges, planning committee members, our Board of Directors, past presidents, vendors and all those who entered their work for consideration.

An event of this magnitude happens with an abundance of resourcefulness, creativity, organization, and vision. THANK YOU to everyone that worked so hard helping to transform the Mile High Station into a magical space and representation of the important work we do. Design matters!

Your feedback matters to us!  If you attended the July 24 gala at Mile High Station, please take a moment to complete our evaluation.

Entry Program

All those who enter are winners in our book! Check out the entries for each category here.  We apologize in advance for any errors and omissions in the onsite printed guide.

Student Award Winner*

Accrescent Community

Submitted by: Isabel Kopelman

Colorado State University

*'Accrescent' is the basis for creating a community center that amplifies the voice of each individual who uses the space. Each voice is represented by sound waves that move through the space and interact with each other. Accrescence describes the continuous growth of these sound waves as they interact. The waves ripple and create a butterfly effect that grows with time. In Accrescent Community, the interactions between sound waves cause them to grow and merge into something even louder. There is power in social interactions, and the concept of Accrescence promotes the continuous growth of social ties throughout the community. Concept sketches and images represent this idea of continuous growth through shape and color. These shapes and colors are used throughout the facility to bring the concept to life.

Tailored Refinement

Denver, CO

Submitted by Blinds Couture

Interior Design Firm: Chalet Colorado - Regan Mattingly

Designer: Briahna Rutledge

Designer: Jessica Work

*This award celebrates the seamless collaboration between a top Denver design-build firm and a masterful drapery studio in the restoration of a historic 1912 home. Guided by a shared commitment to craftsmanship and detail, the team transformed archival inspiration into a beautifully tailored interior that honors the home’s original charm. With over 500 yards of fabric, the custom window treatments were designed and installed with precision—balancing form, function, and the needs of a modern family. The result is a harmonious blend of design, artistry, and thoughtful execution. As the project’s lead interior designer noted,“Their work is truly art for the windows.”
