Sunrise Announcement:
The IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter and ASID Colorado are proud to announce the submission of Colorado's Sunrise Application, marking the first formal step toward pursuing legislative recognition and expanded practice opportunities for qualified interior designers in Colorado.
This achievement represents the collective efforts of countless volunteers, advocates, practitioners, educators, industry partners, and professional organizations who believe in the value of interior design and its critical role in protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
We are especially grateful to the Consortium for Interior Design for its partnership, support, and ongoing commitment to advancing the profession. This milestone demonstrates what can be accomplished when the interior design community comes together around a shared vision.
The Sunrise Review process is only the beginning. As the application moves through state review, the IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter and ASID Colorado remain committed to education, stakeholder engagement, and increasing awareness of the important contributions interior designers make to Colorado's built environment every day.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, expertise and leadership throughout this process. Your dedication has helped move our profession forward and laid the foundation for future generations of interior designers.
Together, we have taken an important first step toward advancing the profession of interior design in Colorado.
